I know this probably doesn't matter to anyone else here but WOW...28 years and it finally happened. 
Philadelphia wins the World Series. 
Too bad there is no way I can ditch work today and go to the
parade because I bet it must be INSANE in the city today. 
I am more
than a little annoyed that most of the national news is dwelling more on the Rays losing that us winning but they were doing that the whole series and being
the winning team makes it all okay. I am more surprised that there was so little property damage considering the fact that the streets of downtown Philly as
well as many of the outlying neighborhoods were filled with thousands of celebrating fans into the wee hours of the morning. We don't have very much
experience with winning after all.

We've had the 3 peat and 3 days ago the Presidency, and the youths that voted and attended the Victory Rally were surprisingly well behaved, except for a
lot of chanting , yelling and lots of hugging. Hope you got my text, Ned. Very happy for your win as well.
